Wholesale & Custom Orders Policy – Sultan Bakery

At Sultan Bakery & Cafe, we take pride in partnering with local businesses and being a part of your most special celebrations. To ensure that every order meets our high standards of quality and service, we have established the following guidelines for all wholesale (B2B) and custom orders.

By placing a wholesale or custom order with us via WhatsApp, phone, email, or in-store, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Wholesale (B2B) Orders

We supply fresh, artisanal baked goods to cafes, restaurants, and other businesses.

Inquiries & Account Setup: All wholesale inquiries must be directed through our official WhatsApp business line or by calling +1 973-406-7475. We may require proof of business operations to qualify for B2B pricing.
Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ): Wholesale pricing is subject to minimum order requirements, which will be discussed during your initial consultation.
Ordering Schedule & Lead Times: Regular wholesale orders must be placed at least 48 hours in advance. Standing orders (daily or weekly recurring deliveries) require a 7-day notice for any adjustments or cancellations.
Payment Terms: Unless a prior credit agreement is established, all wholesale orders must be paid in full upon pickup or delivery. For approved accounts, invoicing terms will be clearly defined in your vendor agreement.

2. Custom Cake & Special Event Orders

Whether it is a wedding, birthday, or corporate event, our custom cakes are baked fresh to your exact specifications.

Consultation & Quotes: Custom order requests should be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance. Quotes provided are valid for 7 days.
Artistic Variations: Please note that all custom cakes are handmade. While we strive to match your design requests and color swatches as closely as possible, slight variations in color, texture, and design may occur and are a natural part of the artisanal baking process.
Changes to Orders: Any changes to the design, flavor, or size of a custom order must be requested no later than 7 days prior to the event date. We cannot guarantee that last-minute changes can be accommodated.

3. Deposits, Payments, and Cancellations

To protect our labor and the cost of premium ingredients, the following financial policies apply:

Deposits: All custom orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking to secure your date. Your order is not confirmed, and work will not begin, until this deposit is received.
Final Payment: The remaining balance is due at the time of pickup or 48 hours prior to delivery, depending on the arrangement.
Cancellations: If you need to cancel a custom order, you must do so at least 7 days prior to the scheduled pickup/delivery date. In the event of a cancellation, the 50% deposit remains non-refundable. Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance will result in the forfeiture of the total order cost.

4. Pickup, Delivery, and Liability

Pickup: Upon pickup, we will present the custom product for your inspection. Once the item leaves our premises, Sultan Bakery & Cafe is no longer responsible for any damage that may occur during transport, setup, or outdoor display (e.g., melting due to weather).
Delivery: If delivery is arranged, our responsibility ends once the product is safely set up at the agreed-upon location. We require a designated person at the venue to sign off on the delivery condition.

5. Allergens and Dietary Restrictions

Cross-Contamination Risk: Our bakery uses ingredients that contain major food allergens, including but not limited to dairy, eggs, wheat/gluten, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts. While we maintain strict sanitation practices, we operate a shared kitchen, and cross-contamination is possible.
B2B Responsibility: Wholesale partners are strictly responsible for communicating these allergen risks to their end consumers. Sultan Bakery & Cafe is not liable for any allergic reactions experienced by your customers or event guests.
